in honour of the human experience
STONES HANDS SWEAT \ WATER COLOUR TIME is an audio-visual project in honour of the human experience.
audio: Combining elements of dance and electronic, the music could be categorized as ambient electronic, with a focus on sensory and emotional exploration.
songs blend vocals and organic sounds, with synthesised elements and world instruments: creating a reflective, textured listening experience. Each piece emerging from extended periods of deep listening — intimate, raw, expansive.
Recorded across coastal Australia, refined in Berlin, and finalised in Iceland and India, the music creates an interconnected world where listeners are offered space to dance, breathe or reflect.
Visual: Filmed across landscapes and cultures—from Iceland’s melting glaciers to the ancestral lands of Japan—the visual component of the project unfolds as a diverse odyssey of contemporary ritual, ecological awareness, and embodied inquiry.
Created in collaboration with independent filmmakers and artists across ten countries, the films contemplate themes of intimacy, identity, land, material, and power.
Merging slow cinema, dance, and poetic documentary, viewers are invited into a sensory field where the body, earth, culture and time interlace through personal and political storytelling - contributing to an archive of imagery that we don’t have or don’t see often.
