STONES HANDS SWEAT \ WATER COLOUR TIME is an audio-visual project in honour of the human experience.

music: comprising two EPs (16 tracks) developed over several years. The sound could be described as ambient electronic, shaped by sensory and emotional exploration.

Songs blend vocals and organic textures with synthesised elements and world instruments, creating a reflective, immersive listening experience. Each piece emerges from extended periods of deep listening: intimate, raw, expansive.

Recorded across coastal Australia, refined in Berlin, and finalised in Iceland and India, the music forms an interconnected world where listeners are offered space to move, breathe, and reflect.

video: The visual aspect of the project expands the music into cinematic space, moving from songs of intimate, challenging personal stories to moments of the sublime, and sometimes the ridiculous, in takes on world politics.

Created with independent filmmakers and artists across diverse landscapes, from Iceland’s melting glaciers to the ancestral lands of Japan, the films trace recurring themes of intimacy, identity, land, material and power.

By blending slow cinema, dance and poetic documentary, the visuals draw viewers into a sensory world where body, earth, culture and time fold together, shifting between inner and outer worlds.
